THE STREET ELEMENT

From street crime writer to legal street artist

In the world of graffiti everybody starts somewhere. For me it was when I was 14 years old tagging with a pen on school table tops. This progressed to using spray cans on walls and trains. I started  doing graffiti in 1994 and stopped in 1998. During those years I painted illegally on  walls and trains. In 2001 I moved to Denmark with my family and didn't think much more about graffiti. It wasn't until 2015 that I found my way back to the spray can and started on a journey of rekindled love for graffiti and street art.

FROM GRAFFITI TO STREETART

Feb 2015

After painting a few graffiti pieces in the early stages and getting a feel for the can again, I decided to paint something that wasn't letters. So I painted a guy in a hoodie along with a graffiti piece. This is when I realised that it actually wasn't difficult to paint something other than letters.

PUSHING THE LIMITS

May 2017

I realised that painting graffiti and street art together is a great combination, that "non graffiti" people (as i like to call them) can understand better than ordinary grafitti that they see on random walls.  Ordinary graffiti is normally quite hard for non-graffiti people to read and understand,  and is  more often than not, not appreciated. The combination of street art and ordinary graffiti however, elevates ordinary graffiti to a form of art, which stirs peoples emotions enabling them to relate to and enjoy each piece.

THE STANDARD GRAFFITI PIECE

This is a variety of graffiti pieces with and without characters.

I'll always have a love for graffiti, because it's where I started.
